New prints

I thought I'd share some new prints which I've been working on, in my spare time.

Colour is usually a key element to my work, however, I wanted to experiment with

black and white illustrations. I tried to incorporate the same style of line-work, as seen in my bumble-bee drawings from a while ago previous blog. Like those pieces, these illustrations centre on detail, pattern and intricacy, adding a modern feel to the work. Rather than creating pieces for children, these illustrations are angled towards adults. It's always good to change your design audience every once in a while.

Overall, I really enjoyed creating these illustrations. It was great to try out a different style, as I'm hoping to create some more of these prints in the future. In the upcoming weeks, I'll be selling them on my Etsy page.
